Monitor, display or screen – whatever you want to call it you’ll probably spend a lot of time looking at it so it’s important to make sure you choose a suitable product.
Function
A computer monitor is where you’ll view the output of your computer and is the main user-interface that the user sees.
A screen is required as it provides visual feedback about data entered by the user. It also provides a means for enjoying things like viewing images, watching movies and videos, and playing games.

Many different types, sizes and varieties of monitors are available. Some features that you may want to consider when choosing a monitor include:

- Resolution
- Refresh rate

- Output capabilities (e.g. HDMI)
